For the past several years, our family has sat down together to evaluate our past year and to look ahead to the new year (typically at the end of December)
I was asked to serve on the Search Committee at our church as we pursue hiring a new college ministry director. As we received resumes, we began to evaluate how each candidate matched the competencies we believed were required to serve well in this role.

As 2011 begins, I’ve reflected on some of the highlights of this past year. Hear are 12 months of praise to my God!
My little sister was born on January 1, 1969. Today she would have turned 42! I’m sure the angels are celebrating with her today in heaven.
This book is exactly what I needed in my arsenal. Every believer engaged in God’s mission must have this great work in their library.
Every week college-age students gather at our home and we study the Bible together using this SOAP method. Many of the students are journaling during the week. When we come together on Thursday nights, we break into groups to read the passage and reflect on its meaning and application to our lives.
I need to feed myself spiritual food every day! Every Christian needs to feed daily on God’s Word to grow!
