I am on a 30-hour Prayer Retreat with my OC colleagues in Seattle. Today has been a truly wonderful day with the Lord including an afternoon of silence and solitude. What a blessing!
On Monday, January 23, I begin a week of teaching at Adelphia Bible School. I have really been looking forward to this opportunity to teach on the mission of the church!
SOAP Journaling is a great way to study the Bible and seek to apply it to your life. I always wanted to be a missionary (since I was a teenager) but I never wanted to raise support!
In most posts over the past year I’ve tried to include a personal challenge toward missional living and some related posts to read – so today shouldn’t be any different.
I know that it must have happened within the first couple of years of my life. I don’t have any memories of my mom, dad or brother putting food on a spoon or fork and placing it in my mouth. I’m sure they did because that’s how all babies are fed solid food before they learn to feed themselves.
Pastor Jerry Mitchell has been faithfully preaching God’s Word at Crossroads Bible Church for the past 30 years. As he preaches each week, he calls the congregation to hear what the Lord is saying to them through the Scriptures.
