He then adds “If not, things will not improve by themselves.” You know this is true. You have to take responsibility for your own growth.

A few years ago I had the marvelous opportunity to train leaders in southern France. I spent a week at Chateau de Saint Albain. It was so beautiful. I loved running through the countryside in the early mornings past the vineyards!
Many people make New Year’s commitments to read the Bible every day. As you start 2013, you may be considering whether or not to make daily Bible reading a habit in your life. I want to encourage you to go for it (even if you read this post after the beginning of 2013).
Whether you are a church planter, or married to a church planter, or a team member, or a sponsoring/sending church, please share the questions you were asking when you got started.
One of my friends sent me a Christmas card that expressed his thankfulness for our friendship. It meant a lot to me personally. And one of the things he pointed out was how much being a good friend is descriptive of a coaching role.
You have to stop leading and let them lead because you learn to lead by leading!

I met with my friend Brian Aaby today and he gave me a copy of Youthmark’s newest release Pray 21 by Timothy Eldred.
