I am so grateful for the churches and individuals who support us in prayer and with finances so we can serve as missionaries on the One Challenge USA team.

Because of the rapidly changing world in which we live, there are two questions that used to be easy to answer but are now quite difficult.

I love training church planters! I love coaching church planters.

My good friend and colleague Karl Teichert is OC International’s Field Director in South Africa. He is actively engaged in advancing Church Planting Movements in Southern Africa.

We are moving from a doing for ministry to equipping and releasing….the value of equipping the saints is absolutely crucial! …At Soma, we don’t pay people to do ministry, that’s the Body of Christ. We all do that. But we do free up people for equipping of the saints and administering to feee up the movement of the saints.

Have you ever wondered what it looks like to incarnate the gospel in your neighborhood?

If you are leading a team, whether in a ministry or mission context, your team expects you to lead.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” — Jesus (Mt 28:19-20)

The vigorous planting of new congregations

I’ve written 150 posts over the past 150 days. I love sharing what I’m learning – and I hope it challenges you to learn and grow as well. As you read and interact, feel free to leave your comments.
