Mark 1:12, “And immediately the Spirit impelled Him to go into the wilderness.” (NASB)

Becoming a Self Feeder |

I know that it must have happened within the first couple of years of my life. I don’t have any memories of my mom, dad or brother putting food on a spoon or fork and placing it in my mouth. I’m sure they did because that’s how all babies are fed solid food before they learn to feed themselves.

“Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. In this case, moreover, it is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.”

Pastor Jerry Mitchell has been faithfully preaching God’s Word at Crossroads Bible Church for the past 30 years. As he preaches each week, he calls the congregation to hear what the Lord is saying to them through the Scriptures.

“The couriers went out impelled by the king’s command while the decree was issued in Susa the capital; and while the King and Haman sat down to drink, the city of Susa was in confusion.”

Every week college-age students gather at our home and we study the Bible together using this SOAP method. Many of the students are journaling during the week. When we come together on Thursday nights, we break into groups to read the passage and reflect on its meaning and application to our lives.

How To Feed Myself Spiritually |

I need to feed myself spiritual food every day! Every Christian needs to feed daily on God’s Word to grow!

“And on that day they offered a great sacrifice and rejoiced because God had given them great joy, even the women and children rejoiced so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard from afar.”
