One of the things that I love about this half-day of prayer together is that praises and prayer requests are gathered from all of our OC teams worldwide.

Healthy communication among church planting team members is vital to the effective starting of a new church.
One of the biggest encouragers in my life is Mike Gaston. I’ve known Mike for many years (he was actually my sister’s youth pastor in Junior High). He currently serves as the Outreach Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita, California. Previously, he served with his wife and kids as missionaries in Cameroon and France.
My colleague David White who serves with OC International in the Philippines has planted churches and trains and coaches church planters. Several years ago he wrote a great book on church planting –
