When I planted a church in 1990, there wasn’t a Church Planters Bootcamp training available. It wasn’t until October 1992 that the Church Multiplication Training Center launched the first Bootcamp for church planters held in Estes Park, Colorado.
How can church planters help those who want to join in planting a church to get on the same page?
The more financial pressures placed on a church planter, the greater the pressure will be to attract “church people” to join the new church so that the giving base will grow.
Whether you are reaching a community, planting a church, or discipling a neighborhood, developing a Missional Team must be a priority!
Here at the Exponential Conference today I was asked why I came to this conference. I offered three reasons for coming to Exponential – and I think that these three reasons would probably provide the basis for attending any conference.

When I planted Lake Hills Church in Castaic, California over 20 years ago, I was invited into a monthly lunch gathering with several church planters. The group included church planters in two denominations: Reformed Church in America (RCA) and the Missionary Church.
