Values reflect a person’s unique beliefs, core convictions, and guiding principles. Your values will guide ongoing attitudes and behaviors. Often times, values are unwritten assumptions that guide actions.
I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Organic Church Movements Conference this past weekend. Let me share some of the highlights for me – and then I’ll add some quotes from different speakers that I’m still thinking about.
Last night at the Organic Movements Conference, Deb Hirsch gave the opening talk. She started by addressing the question – “What is it that motivates you to do what you do?”
Henri Nouwen’s humility is felt from the introduction as he describes himself as “part of a larger movement of which I am only a very small part” (9).
