I turned 45 years old on Monday (March 8, 2010) and with it came the discovery that I am starting the second half of my life.
Leadership development is critical to the ongoing effectiveness of any community of believers. For there to be continual growth and expansion, leaders must be both recruited and raised up. Also, intentional effort must focus on the process for empowering and supporting leaders.
For the past nine months, I’ve been coaching Russ Johnson, a church planter in Asheville, North Carolina. Russ has written a post on how their church has transitioned to become a disciplemaking church.
