Last night at our church, Dr. Jerry Sheveland, president of the Baptist General Conference, preached a message from Acts 10 entitled “The Power to Step Into the World of Others.”
After struggling to plant a church in the early 90s, and sacrificing much to make it happen, I believe that it’s necessary for church plants to have the necessary funding to succeed.

Values reflect a person’s unique beliefs, core convictions, and guiding principles. Your values will guide ongoing attitudes and behaviors. Often times, values are unwritten assumptions that guide actions.
I thoroughly enjoyed attending the Organic Church Movements Conference this past weekend. Let me share some of the highlights for me – and then I’ll add some quotes from different speakers that I’m still thinking about.
