Don’t Give Up (Seattle Seahawks – World Champions)

[featured_image]I loved watching the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl. I loved watching the parade through the streets of Seattle a few days later.

At that time, I had wanted to post something really meaningful about the win. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that I had anything to say to add to the conversation.

Today I began to consider how there is always opposition in life.

Whatever it is that you may be pursuing, there are those who will stand in your way. There are those who will tear you down.

No matter how good you are at what you do, you will hear voices of those who say you are not good enough. It’s going to happen.

I want to say – Don’t lose heart! Don’t give up! Don’t get discouraged!

I’m reminded of the apostle Paul’s words to those who followed Jesus in Galatia –
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:9
