[featured_image]I loved watching the Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs on TNT tonight. GO LAKERS!!!
I’ve been a Laker fan all my life! I love watching the Lakers win!
During the pre-game show, Kenny Smith (@TheJetOnTNT) made this comment about coaches while discussing whether Lakers’ coach Mike Brown should be fired if the Lakers lose tonight:
The obligation of coaches is to make players play better than their talent level.
I totally agree!
Whether you are thinking about an athletic coach, an executive coach, a life coach, or even a church planting coach – the coaches job is to help leaders play better!
When I coach a church planter, I am intent on helping leaders go further faster! I want to help them attain their goals and objectives.
This is essentially what great coaches do – they help players play better!
If God has give you a passion for fulfilling His mission – I want to encourage you to commit yourself to coaching others to do their part in fulfilling the mission of Jesus.
Today’s Missional Challenge
Coach those around you to play better than their talent level!
