[featured_image]It’s been great to be in New York City this week! One of the highlights for me was worshipping with my son at Central Presbyterian Church on Easter Sunday. The music and message were a powerful testimony to the glory of the resurrection!

Another highlight has been enjoying time with Doug here in the city as he prepares toDoug DeVries: Graduating from The Juilliard School | missionalchallenge.com graduate from The Juilliard School next month!

Recently he uploaded several videos from his Graduation Recital (November 2011). These videos demonstrate his ability as a flutist and his dedication. He has an amazing ability! (Of course I’m a proud dad, but you can watch several of his videos to see that I am right.)

Watch Berio: Sequenza I for Solo Flute.

You may also enjoy Brahms: Sonata in E-Flat Major, Op. 120, No. 2 — 1. Allegro amiable

Watch Schubert: Quartet for Flute, Guitar, Violin and Viola — 1. Moderato

In addition to his abilities as a musician, Doug is also a committed follower of Christ and active as a deacon in his church. His love for God shines through.
