Church Planters: Don’t Dream of Starting a Church!

Jesus never started a local church or commanded anyone to start churches. Jesus made disciples and instructed His disciples to make disciples. Churches are communities of disciplemakers, not places to worship. Churches are the natural outcome of disciples making disciples.

What’s your dream for the future?

If you are a church planter, don’t be dreaming of how you are going to start a church.

Instead, start dreaming of how you are going to obey Jesus by making disciples who make disciples.

If you do this well, you’ll find churches will be multiplied as you go.

Today’s Missional Challenge

Don’t focus on planting a church. Focus on making disciples who make disciples.
